All Purpose Widgets!

Pins & Magnets using widget designs: Starting at the Stoneybrook Steeplechase in the spring of 2011 I began selling the “widgets” you see below as pins and magnets. I’ve experimented with a # of aspects and continued to offer them at various events, they seem to be quite popular! I’m going to hold off on selling them online for now but may do so in the future… stay tuned I suppose! 🙂

I started calling these widgets before that became a pretty common term.  All the same, just for posterity these and hopefully someday I’ll make more. I have been calling these sculptural scribbles “widgets” and thus far each has been hand made from apoxie sculpt and hand finished in Sculpt Nouveau metallic B – without any chemical patina. Early in 2011 I began to put them on envelopes with sales and gift certificates. I discuss them a bit more here in my blog and probably will continue to make them here and there as time allows as little fun decorations to surprise customers with.
